Artistic Discretion & Changes

Client acknowledges that HighRes Fotography is into “Wedding Photography & Film Making” and adheres to the said style. Client acknowledges that HighRes Fotography is using their artistic discretion to create film as the Film Maker sees fit. There can not be any fundamental changes done in the short film we make, only adding or removing any (4-5 shots) can be done, which also should be mutually decided. The same concept applies to the Album designing as well. Maximum 4-5 changes can be done. If the Client is opting for Album service(3rd party Service), 50% of the payment has to be made alongwith the selected photos. Remaining 50% needs to be given at the time of delivery.  

Coverage

The Photographers/Cinematographers of HighRes Fotography will be present on wedding/event days as per the time scheduled(informed during the quotation finalization), and it is up to the Photographer/Film Maker when enough photo/film have been captured. All the services are hall to hall. Extra services like coverage from home will be chargeable or otherwise discussed. Also, a representative needs to be appointed from the Client's family to inform if any specific photo needs to be taken of the relatives and friends attending the event. In case, there is no intimation, HighRes Fotography is not responsible for the missing pictures of the same. 

Use of Film

HighRes Fotography holds the complete copyright over the photos and videos. We can use it on our website, social media, exhibitions, etc.

Payment Terms

Payment terms are:  30% booking amount and PDC (dated Wedding day) of the remaining 70% amount should be given.

Deliverable

Client has to provide a Hard disk drive (500-1000 GB), in which entire raw & processed data will be given to you. If not, then HighRes Fotography will provide only processed video and Raw Photos. 

Delivery Timelines

In case of Prewedding photoshoot, all edited photos(25) will be given within 25-30 days. For Wedding packages, If only traditional video is taken, then the processed video will be given within 3 months. In case of cinematic video, the short film will be ready in 3 months. Deliverable timelines of the short video can change due to selection of the music. It is a time consuming process as we finalize music when couple and we agree on one. This process can take longer than expected. During the wedding season, delay can be expected. 

Cancellation

There will be no refund in any case of cancellation under any circumstances. 25% of the total amount will be charged as cancellation fees & rest advance paid will be given to you in the form of credit note. Which can be usable in the future projects you will work with us. The cost of future projects you will do with us will be charged according to the respective prices we will be charging in the future.

Liability

HighRes Fotography and any of his agents or third party associates will not be liable in the unlikely event that a problem arises, whether due to accident, loss of materials, acts of god, equipment or other failures. HighRes Fotography is not responsible for loss of, or interference with, the coverage due to restrictions on the location, including but not limited to, interference from surrounding devices, unsuitable sounds and lights, access limitations, unsuitable lighting restrictions, and the like. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that digital data and related materials are damaged in storage or transport, lost through camera malfunction, lost in the mail, fire or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the HighRes Fotography. Client understands the unpredictable and non-posed nature of photojournalism (assumption of risk) and waives any right to any civil action due to missed or lost film or digital data (including but not limited to unintentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence).

Copyrights of the work

We hold the complete copyrights of the photos & videos made by us for the wedding or any event. We can use them on our social media pages, websites, etc. Also you agree to allow us to tag you (your Facebook account) on our Facebook page. In case you don't want us to use any photo or video to use anywhere online, you can buy complete copyrights of the work by paying 50% extra of the ‘total project cost’.

Permissions to Film

It is the sole responsibility of the Client to secure permission of the church, temples or other venue of the wedding/events for the HighRes Fotography to shoot the ceremony/event. The Client shall insure the placement of the bridal party and the altar decorations so as to not obscure the view of the bride and groom. HighRes Fotography will abide by the rules of the church/temple/Venue in regards to camera placement during the ceremony. Many private venues/businesses are charging a photography/filming permit fee. The client is responsible for the payment of such fee. In the event clients fail or refuse to pay for any such permit fee despite having been informed by the Film Maker that such fee is required, client is responsible for any and all related costs or fines if applicable.

Artificial Lighting

HighRes Fotography makes no guarantee, either expressed or implied, in regard to the quality of the film/Photos, if the artificial lighting provided by the clients at the venue is unsuitable or too dark for photography. It is strongly advised by HighRes Fotography to avoid any use of colored, LED, flashing, mono colored(red/green/blue/pink etc) mood lighting or any other form of colored or flickering lighting in the areas of coverage , sitting areas or performance areas for the events. Bright and even lighting should be provided in all ceremony and guest areas. Lighting in the event should be managed according to our requirement. This can be discussed before the event or the decor/lighting guys should be flexible on the day of the event. We do not give guarantee of the quality of images or video if artificial lighting given by client / venue/ decorators is unsuitable or too dark.

Final Product

It is also understood that the Client is hiring HighRes Fotography for their technical and artistic expertise and, therefore, we reserve the right to edit the film as we seem fit. We do not guarantee that everyone involved in the event will be filmed/shot or will be included in the final film/Photos. We reserve the right to make any changes in the final film/Photos once they are delivered to the clients. Corrections or revision requested after two weeks from the delivery of the video will be chargeable. If Client is opting for Album designing and printing, all selected photos need to be provided to us in proper sequence and folder in pendrive. Post designing, only 4-5 minor changes can be made. Any further changes or redesigning of the Album will be charged extra. Also, after the event all the Raw photos will be shared with the Client. Editing of the Wedding photos will be charged extra. 

Crew Member's Substitution

HighRes Fotography holds the right to appoint the Photographer(s) and Videographer(s) for the event and also may substitute another Photographer or Videographer in the event of one’s illness or circumstances beyond his control. In the event of such substitution HighRes Fotography warrants that the appointed person shall be a competent professional. 

Other team

There should be no other team of photographers or Cinematographers working on same project along side us. In such case quality might affect due to lack of coordination.

Travelling & Accommodation

In case of Outstation weddings/Events, travelling and accommodation for the entire crew should be arranged by the Client. Proper food and water facility needs to be provided to the crew for both local and outstation events.
